This war relic is the “Type 88” Japanese Anti-Aircraft Cannon. It has a caliber of 75mm and a maximum high altitude range of about 20,000 feet. From 25 December 1944 to mid January 1945, a number of US B-24 four-engine “Liberator” Heavy Bombers were shot down by this “Type 88”” Anti-aircraft Cannons over Clark Field.
